How the invoice line total is calculated
Net line amount = quantity × unit price before VAT × (1 − discount ÷ 100). VAT = net line amount × VAT rate ÷ 100. Estimated line total = net line amount + VAT.
Enter a quantity greater than zero; fractional quantities such as 2.5 are accepted. The discount is a percentage from 0 to 100, applied before VAT. Enter your applicable VAT rate; the calculator does not choose it. Select EUR, USD or GBP to format the result, not to convert currencies.
Other lines, delivery charges and jurisdiction-specific rounding are not added. The displayed amounts use two decimal places; check the final invoice in your invoicing software. For a net-to-gross or gross-to-net amount without quantity or discount, use the VAT calculator.
