Try a small example

Load the fictional example in a cleared form. Check the options, run the tool if needed, and compare the result below.

Repeat the exact text 1 to 1,000 times, inserting the selected separator only between copies. A live estimate shows the output length in UTF-16 code units, including separators. Enter text and a whole number from 1 to 1,000. Choose a new line, a space, no separator, or custom text. The live estimate shows the output size; separators appear only between copies. Output is capped at 1,000,000 UTF-16 code units to avoid oversized results. With one copy, no separator is needed; blank input is not accepted.

Quick answer

Repeat the exact text 1 to 1,000 times, inserting the selected separator only between copies. A live estimate shows the output length in UTF-16 code units, including separators.

The page and its assets load from the site; this operation uses your entered values only in this browser and does not send them to a calculation endpoint.

How to use it

Enter text and a whole number from 1 to 1,000. Choose a new line, a space, no separator, or custom text. The live estimate shows the output size; separators appear only between copies.

Limits

Output is capped at 1,000,000 UTF-16 code units to avoid oversized results. With one copy, no separator is needed; blank input is not accepted.

Frequently asked questions

Is a separator added after the last copy?

No. Separators appear only between copies. If you choose a custom separator, it must contain text when you make more than one copy; choose None for adjacent copies.

Why can the size estimate differ from the number of visible characters?

The limit and estimate count UTF-16 code units, the units used by JavaScript String.length. One emoji such as 🚀 can count as two units. The maximum output is 1,000,000 units, including separators.

How many copies can I make?

Choose a whole number from 1 to 1,000. One copy does not need a separator.
